Mr. Vernon Dale Adams

Vernon Dale Adams, age 66 of Dawson Springs, Ky, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mr. Adams was born on August 20, 1949 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Emerson Dale Adams and Louise Dillingham Barnett. He worked as a lineman and electrician for many years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post #310 and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.



Mr. Adams is survived by his wife ~ Brenda Lee Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Kelly Lynn Tudor of Crofton, KY: two sons ~ Tyler Dale Adams and Tanner Lee Adams of Dawson Springs, KY: seven sisters ~ Gladys Blanton of Henderson, KY, Clara Lantrip of Madisonville, KY, Anna Simons of Dawson Springs, KY, Linda Menser of Nortonville, KY, Gayla Hemmings of Providence, KY, Laura Metherd of Dawson Springs, KY and Marty Hamby of St. Charles, KY; a brother ~ James “YoYo” Baucum of Hopkinsville, KY and a grandchild ~ Kylynn Tudor.



In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams is preceded in death by two brothers ~ J.C. Alsbrooks and Homer Baucum.



A memorial service is planned for Mr. Vernon Adams at a later date.
