Thomas “T.C.” Chambers, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Chambers was born on December 17, 1932, in Christian County, KY, to the late Eddie Harold Chambers and Sarah Jane Franklin Chambers. He worked as a sawmill and log processor, a coal miner, coal truck driver and a farmer.
Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bivian Jean Chambers, Dawson Springs; one daughter and son-in-law- Elizabeth “Jeanie” and Jerry Appleby, Dawson Springs; one daughter-in-law- Martha Chambers, Dawson Springs; one sister- Delores Ann Campbell of FL; one brother- Leroy Chambers, Liman, CO; five grandchildren- Melissa & Carrie Chambers, Mike Russell, Greg Russell, and Josh Bennett, and four great grandchildren.
Preceding Mr. Chambers in death are his parents; a son- Donald Edward Chambers, two sisters- Mary Ann Stokley and Bertha Johnson.
Visitation for Mr. Chambers will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 5, 2013 and from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 with Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Menser Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY.
Pallbearers will be Mike Russell, Zac Russell, Greg Russell, David Goodaker, Josh Bennett, and Mike Haulk.
