Mr. Raymond Cotton

Raymond Cotton, age 90 of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Cotton was born on August 24, 1921in White City, IL. He was self-employed as a carpenter.



Mr. Cotton is survived by a daughter ~ Shirley Hicks; four sons ~ Jimmy Cotton, Johnny Cotton, Glenn Cotton and Davy Cotton; two sisters ~ Lois Herndon of Memphis, TN & Margaret Durham of Madisonville, KY; one brother ~ Cleatis Cotton of Dawson Springs, KY; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Cotton in death were his parents ~ Robert Thomas and Annie Hamby Cotton; his wife ~ Louella Cotton; a son ~ Bobby Cotton; three sisters ~ Myrtle Boitnott, Dessie Cotton and Mary Cotton.



Visitation for Mr. Raymond Cotton will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday May 16, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Denzel Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.
