Mr. Maurice C. Jenkins

Maurice C. Jenkins, age 71, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Princeton Health & Rehab in Princeton, KY. Mr. Jenkins was born on February 4, 1942 in Webster Co., KY to the late Calvin Jenkins and Lela May Morse Curry. He was a nurse for many years at Western State Hospital where he retired. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dawson Springs.



Mr. Jenkins is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Cathy & John Oliver of Cadiz, KY; a daughter ~ Sherri Pyburn of Rossville, GA; a companion ~ Mary Lou Blakenship & Family of Dawson Springs, KY;a brother-in-law ~ Gary Morgan of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren ~ Rachel Perez, Katelyn Pyburn & John Thomas Oliver; and a great-granddaughter ~ Lynnett Perez.



Preceding Mr. Jenkins in death are his parents and his wife of thirty-six years ~ Mary Sue Jenkins.



Visitation for Mr. Maurice Jenkins will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 and on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 2, 2014 with Rev. E.J. Hatton officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will be David Morgan, Jason Cansler, John Thomas Oliver, Allen Morgan, Terry McMillen & Roque Perez.
