Mr. Lawrence"Buddy" Jones

Lawrence E. “Buddy” Jones, age 68, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 his residence. Mr. Jones was born on September 6, 1943 in Christian County, KY. He worked for 27 years at Buckhorn and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Christian County.



Mr. Jones is survived by his wife ~ Joyce Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter & son-in-law~ Annetta & James Hinds of Hopkinsville, KY; a son & daughter-in-law ~ Donnie & Shelia Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Bruce Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; three brothers ~ Charles Jones of Greenville, KY, Wayne Jones of Scottsville, KY & Bobby Jones of Hopkinsville, KY; four grandchildren ~ Samantha Trotter, Jonathon Trotter, Jacob Trotter & Lindsey King; & two great-grandchildren ~ Justin Trotter & Mason King.



Preceding Mr. Jones in death were his parents ~ Bernard & Anna Lois Carroll Jones and a brother ~ Danny Jones.



Visitation for Mr. Lawrence “Buddy” Jones will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Friday May 25, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in ShyFlat Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Donnie Jones, Jacob Trotter, Jimmy Hinds, Bruce Jones, Jonathon Trotter & John Johnson.
