Mr. Larry Ray Davis

Larry Ray Davis, age 58, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away at his residence on October 8, 2016. Mr. Davis was born on November 17, 1957 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Junior Davis and Mary Calvin Davis. He attended both the Hopkinsville and Madisonville Community Colleges and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. He was a member of the Sweden Borg Church of Boston, MA.



Mr. Davis is survived by his wife ~ Barbara Payne Davis of Nortonville, KY, two sons ~ Bailey “Scott” Davis of Murray, Charles “Aaron” Davis of Hopkinsville, a brother ~ Wayne Davis of Dawson Springs, two sisters ~ Rhoda Grace of Hopkinsville and Laura Word of Dawson Springs, one step daughter ~ Mishell Buhring of Nortonville, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.



Preceding Mr. Davis in death are his parents, and his first wife ~ Mary Jo Ausenbaugh Davis (departed 11-3-2011).



Visitation for Mr. Davis will be Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, Kentucky. His nephew, Mr. Steve Morse will officiate. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.



Pallbearers include Matthew Simonds, Brent Morse, Daniel Grace, Danny Grace, William Buckley, Jacob Deason, Gary Word and Kyle Menser.
