Mr. John Edward Thorp

John Edward” Eddie” Thorp, age 52, of Henderson, KY and formerly of Ilsley, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. Mr. Thorp was born October 4, 1959. He was a truck driver and was of the Christian faith.



Mr. Thorp is survived by his mother ~ Pearl Imogene Foe Thorp of Ilsley, KY; His Wife ~ Paula Wolfe of Henderson, KY; a daughter ~ Candace Hill of Bowling Green, KY; a sister ~ Connie Sue Barnett (Eric) of Madisonville, KY; Three Brothers ~ Ron Thorp (Vickie) of Henderson, KY ; David Lee Thorp (Jean) of Ilsley, KY & Timothy O’Neil Thorp(Michelle) of Ilsley, KY; Three Grandchildren ~ Dayton Hill, Abbagail Powell & Aubree Powell.



Preceding Mr. Thorp in death was his father ~ Willard O’Neil Thorp; a brother ~ Tommy O’Neil Thorp & a Grandson ~ Izaiah Powell.



Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.



Pallbearers will be Mike Thorp, David Lee Thorp, Eric Barnett, Ron Thorp, Timothy Thorp & David Scott Thorp.
