Jewell Clay Galloway, age 68, passed away at 1:15 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Galloway was born March 15, 1944 in Caldwell County. He was a member of the Midway Valley Pentecostal Church and a 1962 graduate of Caldwell County High School.
Mr. Galloway served his country in the United States Navy from 1964 – 1968 and was an accomplished carpenter.
He is survived by a beloved wife ~ Patricia Gray Galloway of Dawson Springs, KY; his mother ~ Jean Creekmur Galloway; two daughters ~ Kelly Hale of Dawson Springs, KY & Debra Marie Judd of Louisville, KY; ; two sons ~ Todd Hale of Dawson Springs, KY & Michael Byron Galloway of Louisville, KY; three sisters ~ Susan Jones of Madisonville, KY, Judy Galloway of Dawson Springs, KY and Faye DeHart of Dawson Springs, KY; four brothers ~ Bobby Galloway of Charleston, South Carolina, Frankie, & Randy Galloway of Dawson Springs, KY and Jewell Ray Galloway of Madisonville, KY; five grandchildren ~ Caleb, Tyler, Elizabeth Renee, Brandon Michael & Richard Alan, Jr.
Preceding Mr. Galloway in death was his father~ Jewell Sherman Galloway and two brothers ~ Jimmy Galloway & James Edward Galloway
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Piney Grove Cemetery with Rev. Willard Walls officiating. The funeral procession will leave Beshear Funeral Home at 10:45 Wednesday morning.
