Mr. James Joiner, Sr, age 77, of St. Charles, KY passed away on September 5, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. He was born on February 4, 1935 in Oak Grove, KY. Mr. Joiner was a security officer and served his country in the United States Army stationed in Alaska.
Mr. Joiner is survived by five daughters ~ Mary Joiner of Montana, Florence Thompson of Washington, Betty Ericson of Montana, Bessie Joiner of Virginia and Jennifer Bagwell of Washington; a son ~ James C. Joiner, Jr of Dawson Springs, KY; two sisters ~ Mildred Cady of Hopkinsville, KY and Linda White of Idaho; two brothers ~ Jerry Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY and Billy Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY; twelve grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and his caregiver ~ Dorothy Highfield.
Preceding Mr. Joiner in death were his parents ~ Chester Joiner & Flossie White; and a sister.
Visitation for friends will be on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Redden officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Highfield, Cody Smith, Blake Robinson, Kyle Yates, Carlos Hightower and Phillip Goff.
