Mr. Harold L. Stallins

Harold L. Stallins, age 88, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Tradewater Health & Rehab, Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Stallins was born on July 30, 1925 in Caldwell Co., KY to the late Fred G. Stallins and Lena Loyd Stallins. He worked and retired with Buckhorn Manufacturing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.



Mr. Stallins is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years ~ Edna Davis Stallins of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Ann Vandiver of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Jimmy Stallins of Princeton, KY; three grandsons ~ Jason Edwards, Jim Edwards, and Donnie Merritt; and eight great grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Stallins in death are his parents and two sisters ~ Wilma Chambers and Anna Lois Veal.



A funeral service will be held for Mr. Stallins on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. There will be a visitation on Friday, February 28, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Wayne Glass will officiate. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery.



Jason Edwards, Jamie Swatzell, Donnie Merritt, Jim Edwards, Joey Barnett and Jason Davis will serve as pallbearers.
