Mr. Frank Anthony "Tony" Mitchell

Frank Anthony “Tony” Mitchell, age 57, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on December 25, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Mitchell was born on October 2, 1956 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Frank Mitchell, Jr. and Nancy Aline Dockery Mitchell. He was a coal miner all of his working days, and he was of the Christian faith.



Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife~ Lori Mitchell of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons~ Alex Dewayne Mitchell & Bryan Joseph Mitchell of Florida; a step daughter~ Susan Wicks of Mannington, KY; a sister & brother-in-law~ Donna & Marty Vincent, Madisonville, KY; and a brother~ Terry Mitchell, Nortonville, KY; mother-in-law~ Susan Bean of Dawson Springs, KY; five grandchildren~ James Duke, Charlie Duke, Brandon Duke, Emily Jo Duke, and Whalen Michael Wicks.



Preceding Mr. Mitchell in death were his parents and a brother~ Timothy Wayne Mitchell (departed 11-2-2013).



Visitation for Mr. Mitchell will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM until 11 AM. The funeral service will be held at Beshear Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 AM with the Rev. James Lantrip officiating. Burial will be in Menser Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Micky Wicks, Jody Johnson, Carl Winters, Johnathon Storms, Bruce McKnight, and Brandon Johnson.
