Mr. Euril "Dene" Cansler

Euril “Dene” Cansler of North Christian County, near Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 10:50 A.M. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Cansler was born July 17, 1936 in Christian County, Ky. He was baptized at the New Hope Church in Christian County, and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.



Mr. Cansler was a 1954 Graduate of Crofton High School and he also attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington for two years. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 through 1961, and he continued to serve in the Army Reserves until 1965. While serving in the U.S. Army he worked as a construction surveyor and engineer.



He was the developer and owner of Pro Line Surveys working as a surveyor primarily in the Madisonville and Hopkinsville, KY areas for many years.



Mr. Cansler is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law~ Terry and (Bonnie) Cansler and James and (Maria) Cansler, a daughter and son-in-law~ Penny and (Mike) Spears all of Christian County, KY; a sister~ Charlotte Matheney of Christian County, KY, seven grandchildren~ Nicky, Bobby, Don, Chance, Tristan, Timothy and Passion, and three great grandchildren~ Kurgan, Kyrie, and Nikolas.



Preceding Mr. Cansler in death were his parents ~ Thurman and Goldie Morgan Cansler; his wife ~ Edrie Marie Parker Cansler; three children~ Rhonda Lynn Cansler, Deborah Jean Cansler, and Timothy Dene Cansler; one brother~ T.L. Cansler and four sisters~ Earlene Cansler, Estoil Menser, Virginia Haley and Beatrice Parker.



Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2012 from 5-8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Joe Spears & Anthony Durham at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Burial will be in Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton, KY. Military Rites will be performed by the U.S. Army at the cemetery.



Active pallbearers will be Terry Cansler, James Cansler, Mike Spears, Don Burrell, Bobby Cansler, and Chance Carner.
