Mr. Ellis Joshua Copeland

Ellis Joshua Copeland, 89, of Dawson Springs, died at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Tradewater Health & Rehab. He was born July 17, 1922, in Caldwell County to the late Bennie & Zula Belle Chambliss Copeland.



Mr. Copeland was a retired coal miner and a member of the Crossroads Christian Church.



Survivors include a son ~ David Copeland of Dawson Springs, KY; four grandchildren ~ Cynthia Workman, Greg Copeland, Alyssa Roberts & Shannon Ramage & Ten Great-Grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Copeland in death were his parents; his wife ~ Jewel Francis Copeland (departed 2/14/2005); a son ~ Donnie Joe Copeland (departed 7/12/2008); two brothers ~ George Copeland & Howard Copeland; two sisters ~ Joyce Ann Rich & Helen Marie Thomas.



Visitation for Mr. Copeland will be from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 and from 9:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the funeral home with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.



Active pallbearers will be David Copeland, Greg Copeland, Ross Workman, Jimmy Copeland, Timmy Copeland, & Jimmy Menser. Andy Sansone & Great-Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
