Claude A. Holeman, age 87, of Hanson, KY, formerly of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the West Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. Mr. Holeman was born on April 20, 1926, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Herschel and Imogene Armstrong Holeman. He was a graduate of Butler High School in Princeton, KY and worked in the Civil Service for the United States Air Force in Japan, and also served his county in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Holeman was a member of the First Christian Church of Dawson Springs, KY.
Mr. Holeman is survived by a niece, Sandy Stovall of Caldwell County, KY; a nephew, Eddie White of Caldwell County, KY; a sister ~ Nancy Holeman Holmes of Dawson Springs, KY, and many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mr. Holeman in death were his parents; sisters, Melissa Swatzell and Dixie White; brothers, Robert Holeman and Richard Jay Holeman, Sr.
Visitation for Mr. Claude Holeman will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 with Rev. Mike Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Cansler Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
