Mr. Charles "Ray" Russell

Charles “Ray” Russell, age 73, of Kingston, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Russell was born on February 10, 1940, in Coldiron, KY, to the late Charlie & Mary Ellen Brock Russell. He worked as a coal miner and was a member of Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist in Shannon, GA and also served his country in the United States Army from 1962 – 1964.



Mr. Russell is survived by his wife of 48 years~ Bonnie Russell of Kingston, GA; three daughters and sons-in-law~ Mary Catherine & Donald Hornback of Cave City, KY, Michaelene June & Michael Richards of Rome, GA and Tammy Russell & Darrell Ray of Silver Creek, GA; a son ~ Charles Clinton Russell of Lewisville, TX; three sisters ~ Della Brock of Bardstown, KY, Darlene Milner of Rome, GA & Ola Carter of Plainville, IL; two brothers ~ Davis Kyle Russell & Earl Russell of Pineville, KY; twenty-two grandchildren & twenty-three great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Russell in death are his parents; a son- Roger Dale Russell (departed 1978), a daughter-in-law ~ Joyce Russell and a great-grandchild ~ Montana Skye Milby.



Visitation for Mr. Charles “Ray” Russell will be from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 with Rev. Archie Calvert officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
