Obituary for Charles Marlin Sisk
Charles Marlin Sisk, age 75, of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 11:55 A.M. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Hillside Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Sisk was born on January 11, 1934 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to Barber “B.U.” and Ruth (Inglis) Sisk. He worked his entire working life in the sawmills of the region. For years he operated the saw for Venice Menser Sawmills. And later in his career he worked for Johnny Beshears Sawmill.
Mr. Sisk is survived by a sister, Myrtle Tompkins of Texas, and a sister and her husband, Karolyn (Kenneth) Hayden of Cecelia, KY. Additionally, she is survived by a brother and his wife, Merritt (Rose) Sisk of Fulton, KY.
Preceding Mr. Sisk in death were his parents, a sister, Dortha Kupp, and a brother, Ray Sisk.
Graveside services are to be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Rev. E.J. Hatton will preside. Friends are invited to attend the graveside service.
