Mr. Charles "Edward" Beeny, Jr

Charles “Edward” Beeny, Jr, age 63, of St. Charles, KY passed away at 6:05 P.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Beeny was born on December 7, 1950 in Hopkins County, KY to Charles Edward Beeny, Sr. and Betty Marie Hill Beeny. Mr. Beeny was a 1968 graduate of Earlington High School and he attended Western Kentucky University. He owned and operated Computer Knights of Madisonville and Dawson Springs for many years. Ed will be remembered as a friend to Dawson Springs in many ways, and especially for his many contributions to DAPS and his work and support for the Dawson Springs Rotary Club. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Earlington, KY. Additionally, he was a current member and Secretary for the Dawson Springs Rotary Club.



Mr. Beeny is survived by his faithful wife of 41 years, Rebecca McKnight Beeny of St. Charles, KY; a daughter ~ Emily Beeny of Madisonville, KY; two sons, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Joe Beeny (Kim Jernigan) of Paducah, KY, and Mr. & Mrs. Evvan Joseph Beeny (Katlin) of Nortonville, KY, two sisters ~ Ann Moss of Madisonville, KY and Paula Jones of Earlington, KY, and one brother ~ Alan Beeny of Madisonville, KY. Additionally, he is survived by two grandchildren ~ Reed and Hudson.



Preceding Mr. Beeny in death were his parents, a brother ~ William Dennis Beeny, and a sister ~ Helen Marie Beeny.



Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service and Mass for Mr. Beeny on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Mr. Beeny at Beshear Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Father John Vaughn will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY.
