Mr. Arthur Ray Rogers

Arthur Ray Rogers, age 63, of Charleston, KY, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Rogers was born on January 4, 1953 in Madisonville, KY to the late Lonnie Garnett Rogers and Helen Laverne Jackson Rogers. He received a BS from Western Kentucky University and worked with the Civil Service analyzing Computer Systems for the U.S. Army.



Mr. Rogers is survived by a sister and her husband ~ Darla (Monte) Workman of Charleston, KY, two nieces ~ Aimee (Heath) Ferguson of Providence, KY, Ashley Workman of Charleston, KY, a nephew ~ Lonnie Rogers of Dawson Springs, KY, an uncle and several cousins.



Preceding Mr. Rogers in death are his parents, a brother ~ Gary D. Rogers, an infant brother ~ Larry Rogers, a former wife ~ Joan Tapp Stark Rogers and beloved nephew ~ Gabe Rogers-Workman.



Visitation for Mr. Arthur Ray Rogers will be on Sunday, July 10, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, and on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev. Keith Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosedale Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Doug Dunbar, Terry Lynn, Joe Dunbar, Mark Russell, Brent Kingery and Dylan Tapp. Honorary Pallbearers include Jerry Bivins and Gene Workman.
