Mr. Amos Bailey Knight

Amos Bailey Knight, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Knight was born on February 1, 1939 in Todd County, Kentucky to the late George Knight and Tiny L. Spurlin Knight. He was retired from Jennie Stuart Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mr. Knight is survived by his wife of 42 years ~ Louise Steeley Knight; three daughters ~ Nancy Bagby and Thelma Camplin both of Hopkinsville, KY and Deborah Oyston of Cookeville, TN; three sons ~ Richard Bruce of Bowling Green, KY, Benjamin Lee Bruce of Portland, IN, and Tommy Bruce of Hopkinsville, KY; two sisters ~ Thelma Hampton of Cadiz, KY and Linda Fowler of Pembroke, KY; nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Knight in death were his parents, ten brothers and two sisters.



Visitation for Mr. Amos Knight will be on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.at First Baptist Church, 960 Industrial Park Rd. Dawson Springs, KY Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on July 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Rogers and Rev. Jackie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY.



His grandsons and a great-grandson will serve as pallbearers.
