Maudie Lee Alford

Maudie Lee Alford, age 92, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Alford was born on September 30, 1915 to the late Harvey Farris and Martha Rankins Farris. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of Landmark Apostolic Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Survivors include two daughters ~ Tealetha Evitts and Sue Beckner; a son ~ William Earl Alford; step-children ~ Georgia England and Charles Alford; grandchildren ~ Cynthia Parker, Rebecca Welch, Chris Evitts, Sarah Hines, Beverly Ezell, Tony Alford, Penny Meridith, Jamie Alford, Randall Alford, Archie Wayne Alford, Jeffery Alford, Ricky Alford and Marie Choudury and many great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Alford in death were her parents; her husband ~ Kellie Alford (departed 10/21/1981); a son ~ Archie Pearl Alford and step-children ~ Louise Niswonger, Mary Gunter and Howard Alford.



Visitation for Mrs. Maudie Lee Alford will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM and Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Robert Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery in Hopkins County, Kentucky.



Pallbearers will be Chris Evitts, Jamie Alford, Archie Wayne Alford, Jeffery Alford, Jason Ezell and Jeremy Alford.
