Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness cherished by many. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Gary Grisham of Dawson Springs; her daughter Debra Lee Oldham and son-in-law D.J.; granddaughter Natalee Paige Oldham; loving sister Beth Yutze; step-sister Brenda Gough; and step-brother Mark Gough. Her spirit lives on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In reflecting on her life, we remember Mary not only for her achievements but also for the love she shared with those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Virginia Bryant, and a step-sister Peggy Grim.
Services to honor Mary Grim Grisham will take place on June 9th at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Jicka officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Don Oldham, Larry Ligon, Stephan Grimes, Chris Ward, Lee James, and Justin Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Copeland, Chris Evitts and Billy Morris.
As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman whose light will continue to shine brightly through all those she inspired, let us hold onto the legacy of compassion and service that Mary so beautifully exemplified throughout her life.
