Mary Elizabeth Jones

Mary Elizabeth Jones, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1929 to the late Benny Morgan and Georgia Dunbar Morgan Hibbs. Mrs. Jones was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of Dayspring Assembly of God Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Tonya (Bob Bowland) Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; a son, Anthony (Darcy) Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; seven grandchildren, Lee Eric Jones, Leslie Cotton, Brian Jones, Tony Jones, Tara Travis, Rev. K.C. Harryman and Rev. Joey Harryman; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Jones in death were her parents; her husband, William Garland Jones, a sister, Earnestine Akin, and a brother, Benny Morgan.



Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jones will be conducted on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY with Rev. K.C. Harryman and Rev. Joey Harryman, officiating.



Active Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Bob Bowland, Justin Jones, Tony Jones, Reagan Murphy and Lee Eric Jones. Honorary Pallbearers are Rob Cotton, Josh Travis, Seth Jones, Chris Jones and Kaden Jones.



In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
