Mary Delaine Ramsey

Mary DeLaine Ramsey, age 68, of Charleston, KY passed away at home surrounded by her family. Miss Ramsey was born in Madisonville, KY to the late Samuel and Agnes Shelton Ramsey. She was a 1969 graduate of West Hopkins High School and a member of Charleston Baptist Church. Miss Ramsey was a school teacher for 29 years in the Hopkins County School System at St. Charles, Charleston and West Hopkins Elementary Middle Schools.



Miss Ramsey is survived by three brothers ~ John & Kay Ramsey, William and Shirley Ramsey, all of Madisonville, KY and Earl and Jeannette Ramsey of Dawson Springs, KY; nine nieces and nephews ~ Suzanne Fowler, Judy (Roger) Martin, Ed Ramsey, Lara Ramsey, Walter (Marianne) Ramsey, Johnna (Bart) DeHaven, Joy (Todd) Cowan, John Ramsey, Jr., Kerry (Catherine) Ramsey; and 12 great nieces and nephews ~ Chase, Lauren, Ashlee, Sam, Sydney, Kathleen, Nicholas, Payne, Victoria, Evelyn, Saydee, and Lucy.



Visitation for Miss DeLaine Ramsey will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Brother Patrick Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Active Pallbearers include Walter Ramsey, Sam Ramsey, Bart DeHaven, Payne DeHaven, Kerry Ramsey, Nicholas Ramsey and Chase Talerico. Honorary Pallbearers include Ed Ramsey, Todd Cowan, Roger Martin, and Brad Fowler.
