Mary "Cathie" Hale

Mary “Cathie” Hale, age 67, of Princeton, KY passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Ms. Hale was born on June 8, 1950 in Christian County, KY to the late Raymond Smiley and Lear Mae Hale Smiley. She retired after working 40 years as a convenience store clerk. Ms. Hale was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Christian County, KY.



Ms. Hale is survived by a daughter & son-in-law ~ Lori & T.J. Gentry of Grand Rivers, KY; a daughter ~ Amanda “Niki” Parker of Princeton, KY; a step-daughter and son-in-law ~ Kim & Scott Phillips of Madisonville, KY; a step-son & daughter-in-law ~ Matt & Susan Hall of Beulah, KY; three brothers and sisters-in-law ~ Glenn & Vicki Smiley of Princeton, KY, Kenneth & Barbara Smiley of Cerulean, KY and Wayne & Ann Smiley of Princeton, KY; six grandchildren ~ Damian (Jennifer) Hale, Trenton (Jessica) Foe, Troy Foe, Dillon (Ashley) Hale, Kelli Hale and Gracey Parker; six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren ~ Hunter Daugherty, Gabe Hale, Caroline Foe and Jaden Crunk and four step-great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; a son ~ Bo Hale and a brother ~ Gene Smiley.



Visitation for Ms. Mary “Cathie” Hale will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Steve Graham and Rev. Junior Heltsley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
