Martha Lou Lacey

Martha Lou Lacey, age 67, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her residence. Ms Lacey was born June 4, 1954 in Madisonville, KY to the late Mary McGregor Pleasant. She was a cook at Dude’s Restaurant for 17 years; additionally, she worked at Western State Hospital in housekeeping. She was of the Christian Faith.



Ms Lacey is survived by two sons, Steve Pleasant (Jennifer) of Dawson Springs, KY and Jason Hopper (Cynthia) of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Linda Dunning (Barry) and Margaret Oliver all of Dawson Springs, KY; and many grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Mary Gardner and Katherine Townsend; and two brothers, Billy Joe Pleasant and Jerry Pleasant; and a niece who was like as sister, Lisa Allen.



A graveside service for Martha Lou Lacey will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Mathis officiating. Pallbearers include Barry Dunning, Jason Hopper, Kyle Pleasant, Greyson Pleasant, Chevy Blanton and Christian Puckett.
