Martha Jean "Penny" Trautman

Martha Jean “Penny” Trautman, age 77, of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Dalton, KY passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Ms. Trautman was born on October 10, 1939 in Evansville, IN to the late William Marce Franklin and Martha Jean Moore Franklin. She worked for over twenty five years with General Electric in Madisonville, and she was of the Southern Baptist Faith.



Ms. Trautman is survived by two daughters ~ Bonnie Jean Hollermann (Norbert) of Firestone, Colorado, and Patricia Medelle (Steve) of Madisonville, KY; one son ~ William E. Trautman (Mary) of Dalton, KY; a brother ~ James Ray Franklin (Karen) of Nortonville, KY; and, two sisters ~ Linda Hubbard (Art) of Madisonville, KY, and Francis Ezell of Dawson Springs, KY; six grandchildren ~ Jenny Mabrouk, Robert Peyton, Billy Joe Trautman, Misty Moore, Houghston Peyton, and Christina Trautman; twelve great-grandchildren, and a loving companion ~ Charles Legate.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Robert “Bobby” Trautman, one brother ~ William Franklin, Jr., and two sisters ~ Louise Wallace Deaton and Barbara Cannon.



Visitation for Ms. Trautman will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev. Scott Hulsey, officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Billy Joe Trautman, Houghston Peyton, Robert “Robby” Peyton, Gavin Moore, Cade Trautman and Norbert Hollermann.
