Martha Jean Abbott

Martha Jean Abbott, age 83, of Dawson Sprnigs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Ms. Abbott was born on June 28, 1935 in Christian County, KY to the late Roy Cansler and Ruth P’Poole Cansler. She was a homemaker and attended her neighborhood Holiness Church.



Ms. Abbott is survived by two grandchildren ~ Jimmy Abbott and Tammy Dukes, and five great-grandchildren.



Preceding Ms. Abbott in death was her parents and her son ~ Leon Abbott.



There will be a visitation for Martha Jean Abbott on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Duane Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hawkins Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
