Marilyn Anita Vaughn

Marilyn Anita Vaughn, age 71, of Dawson Springs passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Mrs. Vaughn was born on September 5, 1952 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Cecil McDaniel and Wanda Jean Brewer Mathis. She was a member of Dunn Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Vaughn was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and worked for 25 years as a registered nurse at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY.

  
She is survived by her husband of 52 years ~ James Thomas Vaughn of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Troy Vaughn of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Darlene (Tony) Winters of Dawson Springs, KY; two  brothers ~ Lonnie (Josie) Mathis of Dawson Springs, KY and Dennis (Kathy) McDaniel of Morganfield, KY; and a grandson ~ Jacob Vaughn.

Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her parents and an uncle ~ Jack Brewer.

Visitation for Mrs. Marilyn Vaughn will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Jeremy Jessup and Rev. Bobby Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
