Margaret E. Adams

Margaret E. Adams, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Adams was born on August 15, 1916 to the late Austin Ladd and Lucy Smiley Ladd. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Survivors include eight daughters ~ Mary Francis Messamore of Dawson Springs, KY, Christine Hale of Dawson Springs, KY, Josephine Typer of Cadiz, KY, Ruth Farris of Nortonville, KY, Betty Lowe of Texas, Sue Hartwig of Kokomo, IN, Lucy Rains of Cadiz, KY and Edna Mae Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; six sons ~ Gordon Adams, Jr., Cletus Adams, David Adams, Roger Adams, Phillip Adams and Arnold Adams all of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Fred Ladd of Smithland, KY; thirty-six grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Adams in death were her parents; her husband ~ Gordon Louis Adams (departed 1981); and infant child ~ Earnestine Adams; and eleven brothers and sisters.



Visitation for Mrs. Margaret E. Adams will be Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, Kentucky.
