Loretta Lavonne Poole

Loretta Lavonne Poole, age 80, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Baptist Health Medical Center, Madisonville, KY. Ms. Poole was born on March 3, 1937 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Hugh Sayers and Evelyn Purdy Sayers. She worked for 30 years as a pizza maker in Mokena, IL. She was a beloved mother and homemaker, Boy Scout Den Mother and a supportive Little League mom.



She is survived by two sons ~ Jeffrey Arnold Poole of Dawson Springs, KY and Robert Keith (Ali) Poole of Mokena, IL; one grandson ~ Jeffery DeBauche, two great greatchildren; two brothers ~ Charles “Buddy” Johnson of Princeton, KY and Billy Wayne Johnson of Dawson Springs, KY; three sisters ~ Aretta Boucher and Betty Kay (Deon) Ladd of Dawson Springs, KY, and Joann Wise of Dalton, KY.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Henry Arnold Poole (departed 1-18-1998), and one brother ~ Robert Sayer.



Visitation for Ms. Loretta Lavonne Poole will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Her son, Robert Keith Poole will be the speaker at her funeral service. Burial will follow after the funeral service at Piney Grove Cemetery near Dawson Springs, KY.
