Linda Fern Hartline, age 80, of Dawson Springs passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, KY. Mrs. Hartline was born on May 18, 1943 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late William Julian Fox and Verna McKnight Fox. She and her husband owned and operated Hartline’s Bestway in Dawson Springs for many years. She also worked at Enro, West Hopkins High School and Hopkins County Adult Education. Linda loved taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, shopping for new clothes and watching old Western movies. Mrs. Hartline attended Mortons Gap Christian Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband ~ James Douglas Hartline of Dawson Springs, KY; children ~ Ginger (Steve) Peeples, Kristi (Robin) Huddleston, and Jamie (David) Thorp all of Dawson Springs, KY; grandchildren ~ Jessica (Frankie) Purdy, Stephanie (Stephen) Clayton, Clarissa (Justin) Rust, Sarah (Logan) Earl, D.J. Thorp and Emma Thorp; great-grandchildren ~ Lane Purdy, Katie Blanchard, Will Purdy and Luke Blanchard; a sister ~ Addie Belle (Rayburn) Bratcher and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hartline was preceded in death by her parents; her sister ~ Reba Benzick and her brother ~ Isaac Fox.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Mrs. Linda Hartline at a later time.
