Lesley "Rooster" Robinson

Lesley “Rooster” Robinson, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Robinson was born on April 15, 1953 in Princeton, KY to the late VanBuren Robinson and Opal Mae Dorris Robinson. He retired after working 27 years as a coal miner and was a member of Silent Run Baptist Church in Hopkins County, KY. Mr. Robinson was a 1971 graduate of West Hopkins High School.



Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife ~ DeAnna Gwen Cline Robinson; two daughters ~ Michelle Nichols and Tina Robinson; a son and daughter-in-law~ Jesse and Elizabeth Robinson; a nephew who is like a son and his wife ~ Jason and Gina Robinson; a sister ~ Zida Bonn; five grandchildren ~ Ciarra Robinson, Devin (Michael) Storms, Tamara Nichols, Eryn Robinson and Luke Robinson; five great-grandchildren ~ Jeco Hendrix, Jakyia Hendrix, Alexa Storms, Michael Storms, Jr., and Nova Storms



Preceding Mr. Robinson in death were several sisters and brothers ~ JoAnn Blackburn, Patsy Brown, Johnny Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Ronnie Robinson, Donnie Robinson, Wesley Robinson, and a set of twins that died shortly after birth.



Visitation for Mr. Lesley “Rooster” Robinson will be Monday, June 4, 2018, from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 8:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Bro. Marvin Sisk officiating. Burial will follow in Silent Run Cemetery Nebo, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Dunham Box, Billy Baker, Steve McClenden, Danny Brown, Jamie Richardson, Kyle Chappell, Frankie Galloway and Jason Robinson. Jesse Robinson will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
