Kristie Michelle Brasher

With great sadness, the family of Kristie Michelle Brasher, age 48, of Sturgis, KY announces her passing on October 15, 2024.

Kristie’s greatest accomplishments were her two sons, Blade and Dawsun Stevens. Kristie was known as “Sweetie” by her “Moonpie,” Amelia “Millie” Stevens.

Kristie had a love of baking and she also enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She was a simple woman who enjoyed a simple home life of being a mother and a grandmother. Kristie had an uncanny ability to find joy in the simplest things in life.

Kristie will be missed by her mother, Lana Marie Brasher; her brother, Curtis Brasher, her sisters, Sharon Gaye Denton and Melissa Gifford and her boyfriend, Paulie Watson.

Kristie’s favorite saying was “It could always be worse.” She will forever be in our hearts.

A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at a later date.
