Kathleen Wiggins Bernhardt

Kathleen Wiggins Bernhardt, age 95, of Rochester, NY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on December 8, 2019 at the Rochester Presbyterian Home in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Bernhardt was born on August 27, 1924 in Missouri to the late Loyd and Hattie Wiggins. She was a nurse and a member of the Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Caldwell County, KY.



Mrs. Bernhardt is survived by a son; two sisters, a granddaughter and care giver~ Candace (Donald) O’Keefe of Rochester, NY; a grandson ~ George L. (Ashlee) Bernhardt III of Florence, SC and three great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Bernhardt in death was her parents; her husband ~ George Leonard Bernhardt (6/30/2010), and one son ~ Larry Bernhardt.



There will be a visitation for Mrs. Bernhardt on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 11:00 AM, until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Sammy Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY.
