Judith Ann Hopper Chester

Judith Ann Hopper Chester, age 78, of Princeton, KY and formerly of the Ilsley Community, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Chester was born on July 13, 1945 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Carlie Thomas Hopper and Betty Fisher Hopper. She worked for many years at Trover Clinic in Dawson Springs and attended Charleston Missionary Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

She is survived by two daughters ~ Kimberly Ann (Bo) Jackson of Princeton, KY and Ronda Leigh Darnell of Nashville, TN; a son ~ Ronald Wayne (Kelly) Chester, Jr. of Crofton, KY; two brothers ~ James Hopper of Madisonville, KY and Don Hopper of Dawson Springs, KY; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years ~ Ronald Chester, Sr. (departed 8/15/2021); five sisters ~ May Dean Mills, Thelma Sue German, Christine “Jo” Johnson, Janie Marie Parrott and Brenda Kay Bozell; one brother ~ Charles Thomas Hopper

Visitation for Mrs. Judith Ann Chester will be Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Patrick Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

Active Pallbearers include Ethan Jackson, Bo Jackson, Barkley Hudson, Ronald Chester, Jr., Samuel Chester, and Caleb Chester. Honorary Pallbearers include: James Hopper, Don Hopper, Danny Parrott and Jimmy Bozell.
