Juanita V. Cotton

Juanita V. Cotton, age 88, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Cotton was born on September 26, 1920 in Caldwell County, KY to the late William “Willie” Stevens and Sarah Ann Ausenbaugh Stevens Rucker. She was a beloved mother and and homemaker and worked for many years in the healthcare industry. Mrs. Cotton was of the Pentecostal faith.



Survivors include daughters ~ Irene Harness of Dawson Springs, KY, Delores Watson of Henderson, KY, and Pamela Sutton of Dawson Springs, KY; Sons ~ William “Buddy” Cotton of Virginia, IL and James Cotton, Sr. of Bruceton, TN; twenty grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Corn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Melvin Larry Cotton (departed 7/2/1973); a sister ~ Willie Mae Murphy and two brothers ~ Thomas Arnold Stevens and Richard Rucker.



Visitation for Mrs. Juanita V. Cotton will be Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 500 - 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Felker will officiate the service and burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be: Jason Stuart, Dustin Tosh, Steve Harness, James Cotton, Jr., Tom Cotton and Allen Cotton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Martin, Bill Cotton, Jr., Dane Tosh, Dylan Tosh, Tyler Sutton and Robert Williams, Jr.
