John Randall Martin

John Randall Martin, age 71, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Martin was born on June 16, 1946 in Madisonville, KY to the late John Raymond Martin and Myrtle Mae Williams Martin. He worked for more than 30 years in retail sales and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was of the Christian faith and was a graduate of South Hopkins High School and also attended Austin Peay State University.

He is survived by his wife ~ Patricia Walker Mitchell Martin of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Stacia A. Peyton of Knoxville, TN; a step-son ~ Sheldon (Lori) Mitchell of Dawson Springs, KY and two step-grandchildren ~ Everli and Blake Mitchell.



He was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Mr. John Randall Martin will be on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 8:00 A.M. until the 1100 A.M. funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. William Don Watson and Rev. David Hoard officiating. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. on Monday evening at Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be: Pevie Cotton, Paul Derby Cotton, Kevin Martin, Ronnie Ben Cotton, Johnnie Hoard and Randy Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Dillingham, Virgil Cooper, Donnie Parrent and Jodie Johnson.
