John F. Weekes

John F. Weekes, age 80, of Eddyville, KY passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Weekes was born on September 6, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert L. Weekes and Evelyn Herzog Weekes. He received a college technical degree in Management Engineering. Mr. Weekes served his country in the U.S. Navy during which he served three tours of duty in Vietnam and retired after serving twenty years. After retiring from the U.S. Navy he additionally served and retired with the Civil Service. He was a member of the Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church, Princeton, KY.



Mr. Weekes is survived by his wife ~ Linda Pauline Burris Weekes of Eddyville, KY, three daughters ~ Diane Weekes of Wyoming, Lisa McIntyre of Eddyville, KY, Pamela Hill of Atkins, AR; two sons ~ Dusty Weekes of Portland, OR and David Endicott of Memphis, TN, and one brother ~ Robert Weekes of St. Louis, MO; eighteen grandchildren ~ Danielle, Jonathon, Jeremy, Amanda, Chris, John, Jr., Brian, Benjamin, Athena, Caitlin, Tessa, Brandon, Brittini, Searra, Jay, Hailey, Hayden, and Hannah; multiple great-grandchildren, and multiple great-great grandchildren.



Preceding Mr.Weekes in death are his parents, two daughters ~ Terri Weekes & Marie Weekes; two sons ~ Danny Weekes and Mike Crawford, and two sisters ~ Patricia Lehman and Mary Jo Dowdy.



Visitation for Mr. John F. Weekes will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church in Princeton, KY with Rev. Shannon Blosser and Brother Dean Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Princeton, KY where the U. S. Navy will present Military Honors.
