James Martin Allsbrooks

James Martin Allsbrooks, age 73, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Continue Care Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Allsbrooks was born November 17, 1945 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Everett Allsbrooks and Vernie Alexander Allsbrooks. He retired with the Kentucky Department of Parks after working with Maintenance at Pennyrile Park for twenty five years. He was of the Christian Faith.



He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law ~ Lisa & Brian Johnston of Dawson Springs, KY, and two sons and daughter-in-laws ~ James David and Marcy Allsbrooks of Hopkinsville, KY, Charlie and Tiffany Allsbrooks of Dawson Springs, KY; and a sister ~ Mary Louise Brothers of Dawson Springs, KY; six grandchildren ~ Heather Campbell, Jessica Clark, McKenna Allsbrooks, Nellyn Allsbrooks, Crystal Spaulding, Alex Beecham and Timber Allsbrooks; and three great-grandchildren ~ Madison Campbell, Riley Jones and Liam Spaulding.



He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife ~ Nell Kathryn Allsbrooks (departed 3-14-2018).



Visitation for James Martin Allsbrooks with be Sunday, August 4, 2019, from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow at the Piney Grove Cemetery near Dawson Springs, KY. Active Pallbearers include: Brian Johnston, Neal Spaulding, Alex Beecham, Chris Moore, Tony Brothers and Cody Brothers.
