Georgia Geneva Eli

Georgia Geneva Eli, age 86, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017at Tradewater Health and Rehabitation, Dawson Springs. Ms. Eli was born on August 3, 1930 in St. Charles, KY to the late George Glasgow and Monie Matheny Glasgow. She was a beloved mother and homemaker. Ms. Eli was a member of the Bainbridge Grove Missionary Baptist Church.



Georgia Geneva Eli is survived by three daughters~Connie (Tommy) Major of Princeton, KY, Janie (Bobby) Phelps and Cathy Wallace of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Marvin A. (Kim) Eli of Dawson Springs, KY; five grandchildren ~ Amy Parker, Jason Phelps, April Cadwell, Morgan Belluzzo and Jesse Eli, and seven great-grandchildren ~ Landen, Gavin, Leland, Eli, Abby, Hannah and Hadley.



She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband ~ Marvin E. Eli (departed June 21, 1997)



Visitation for Georgia Geneva Eli will be Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Butch McKnight and burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.



Active pallbearers include Jason Phelps, Sammy Akin, Dan Belluzzo, Aaron Hays, Jesse Eli and Randall Gamble. Honorary pallbearers include Adrian Croft, Jerry Cansler, Mike Cansler, Jim Eli and Tom Gee.
