George Arthur Higgins

George Arthur Higgins, age 60, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mr. Higgins was born on August 4, 1956 in Frankfurt, Germany to Robert Frank Higgins, Jr. and Mildred Elizabeth Hammel Higgins. He worked as a Bio Med Tech for over 30 years and was a 1974 graduate of Christian County High School.



Surviving family members include two brothers ~ Robert Frank Higgins, Jr. (Connie) of San Antonio, TX and Gerald Higgins (Lisa) of Hopkinsville, KY; two sisters ~ Carol Jean Wagstaff (William) of Palmetto, FL and his twin sister ~ Patricia Ann Heckel (Steve) of Plant City, FL.



He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.



Visitation for Mr. George Arthur Higgins will be Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home with the Rev. Dustin Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
