Eugene Allen Bayer

Eugene Allen Bayer, age 72, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY. Mr. Bayer was born on December 11, 1946 in Birdseye, IN to the late Rev. Edwin Joseph Bayer and Shirley Genevieve Buford Bayer. Mr. Bayer was a 1964 graduate of Dawson Springs High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years and worked actively in Life and Health Insurance sales for thirty years. He was a member of the Lone Star Pentecostal Church in Madisonville, KY.



He is survived by his wife of 50 years ~ LaDonna Lanham Bayer of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Allen Bayer of Dawson Springs, KY and Joey (Sarah) Bayer of Owensboro, KY; two brothers ~ Rev. David (Anga) Bayer of Evansville, IN, and Mickey Lee (Lisa) Bayer of Princeton, KY; three sisters ~ Shirley Marie (William) Ramsey of Dawson Springs, KY, Loretta Kay (James) Maroney, and Kathy Joann (Jimmy) Moore both of Evansville, IN; and one granddaughter ~ Courtney Paige Bayer.



He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother ~ James DeWayne Bayer.



Visitation for Mr. Eugene Allen Bayer will be Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, and from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev. Ron Elliott and Rev. David Bayer officiating. The U.S. Air Force will provide a military honor guard service prior to burial after the funeral service at Rosedale Cemetery. Pallbearers include Walter Ramsey, Jeremy Moore, Josh Moore, Chad Bayer, Mark Bayer and Heath Hancock.
