Eloise Carlton Morris

Eloise Carlton Morris, age 94, of Louisville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mrs. Morris was born on November 26, 1923 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Sidney Duke Carlton and Martha Ann Huddleston Carlton. She worked for many years as the shipping manager for Ottenheimer Manufacturing and was a member of Baptist Temple in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mrs. Morris is survived by a daughter ~ Mary Anna Lisanby of Louisville, KY; a daughter and son-in-law ~ Charlotte and Alan Duncan of Hanson, KY; four grandchildren and their spouses ~ Andrew and Natalie Burden, Philip and Alysen Burden, Brian and Cynthia Duncan and Katrina and Anthony Mullins and nine great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Charles Marion Lisanby (departed 10/7/1974); her second husband ~ Owen B. Wright (departed 11/1/1996) and her third husband ~ Bethel Morris (departed 6/5/2006) and eight brothers and sisters ~ Sidney Zeno Carlton, Mary Lora Potter, Georgia Florence Parker, Charles Eugene Dolph Carlton, Eva Geneva Cotton, Hoyat Adoyle Carlton, Iris Annalene Cunningham and Carlos Sid Carlton.



Visitation for Mrs. Eloise Carlton Morris will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Donnie Howton officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, Kentucky.



Pallbearers will be: Andrew Burden, Brian Duncan, Danny Carlton, Philip Burden, Skyler Duncan and Anthony Mullins.
