Elizabeth "Liz" Blalock

Elizabeth Edwards Blalock, age 84, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Ms. Blalock was born on December 8, 1932 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Joseph Chester Edwards and Agnes Hastings Edwards and she was a graduate of Charleston High School. She worked for twenty six years for Buckhorn Manufacturing in Dawson Springs.



Ms. Blalock is survived by three daughters ~ Ruth Barnett of Dawson Springs, KY, Janice Harms (Tim Wheeler) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kay Bourland(Steve) of Madisonville, KY, and two sons ~ Barry Blalock (Linnie) and Jon Blalock (Lori) both of Dawson Springs, KY., five grandchildren ~ Allysa Roberts, Kasey Faughn, Amanda Whitten, Colin Harms, and Rachel Blalock; and eight great grandchildren ~ Joe, Damien, Chloe, Brennen, Aiden, Kaylee, Alex and Ava.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Joe Lee Blalock (departed 9/24/90), brothers ~ Garland Edwards, Earnie Edwards, and Joseph Chester Edwards II, and four infant siblings.



Visitation for Ms. Blalock will be Saturday, December 17, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 18, from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with the Rev. Randall Rogers and Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
