Edna Earle Goodaker

Edna Earle Jones Goodaker, age 92, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Tradewater Health and Rehabitation, Dawson Springs. Ms. Goodaker was born November 4, 1924 in Clay, KY to the late Thurman Jones and Ruth Ellen Braden Jones. She drove a school bus for the Hopkins County School System for twenty five years. Ms. Goodaker attended the Ilsley Community Church.



She is survived by one son, Garry (Sheila) Goodaker of Dawson Springs, KY, and a step daughter ~ Mary Jane Melton of Murray, KY, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Royal Edward Goodaker (departed 1-5-2010), a daughter ~ Patricia Goodaker Jennings Garcia, a son ~ Royal Wayne Goodaker, two granddaughters ~ Kimberly Von Danna Jennings Payne and Melissa Sue Goodaker Bennett, three sisters ~ Jewell Jones, Mae Bailey, Allyne Brown, and a brother ~ James Riley Jones.



Visitation for Edna Earle Jones Goodaker will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey presiding. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery, Ilsley, KY.
