Earl Ray Hopper

Earl Ray Hopper, age 72, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. Mr. Hopper was born on May 3, 1945 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Raymond Coy Hopper and Elsie Mae Thomason Hopper. He was a transmission technician all his working life and owned and operated Town & Country Transmission in Madisonville, KY for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years ~ Louise Hopper of Henderson, KY; two daughters ~ Tammy Hopper and Kathy Hopper-Nobles both of Indiana; seven sons ~ Ray Earl Hopper of Indiana, Earl Ray Hopper, Jr. of Evansville, IN, Daryl Wayne Hopper of Owensboro, KY, Thomas Earl Hopper, Sr. of Greenville, KY; Steven Ray Hopper of Madisonville, KY, Larry Ray Hopper and William Earl Hopper both of Henderson, KY; twenty one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister ~ Wilma Pauline Casey and a brother ~ James Raymond Hopper.



Visitation for Mr. Earl Ray Hopper will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 with Rev. Roger Lam officiating. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.



Pallbearers will be: Thomas Hopper, Sr., Thomas Hopper, Jr., Larry Hopper, Steven Hopper, William Hopper and Bernard Campbell.
