Dorless Floyd Hester

Dorless Floyd Hester, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Hester was born on August 31, 1942 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Floyd Garland Hester and Mary Sue Tucker Hester. Mr. Hester served his country in the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith.



Survivors include a daughter ~ Penny Budd of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ James “Bo” Hester and Scotty Hester both of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Dorothy Sue Vanover of Evansville, IN; a brother ~ Jimmy Garland Hester of Evansville, IN; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his parents; his wife ~ Rosa Caraway Hester (departed 9/2/1993); sisters ~ Vivian Ann Spruell and Janice Fay Johns and a brother ~ Larry Gail Hester.



Visitation for Mr. Dorless Floyd Hester will be Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and Monday, May 19, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Ricky Winstead will officiate the funeral service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, KY.
