Doris Hunt Sizemore

Doris Hunt Sizemore, age 93, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Continue Care in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Sizemore was born on September 11, 1930 in Burdine, KY to the late Dock Hunt and Irene Huddleston Hunt. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and worked as a hairdresser for many years. Mrs. Sizemore enjoyed traveling and reading. She loved all animals and was often described as “full of spunk!”

Mrs. Sizemore is survived by a daughter ~ Roseann Sizemore Laffoon of Madisonville, KY; a son ~ Johnny R. Sizemore of Marion, KY; a granddaughter ~ Amanda Sizemore and three great-grandchildren ~ Blake, Jason and Kolin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Donald Sizemore; brothers ~ Bill Hunt, Dan Hunt, Frank Hunt, Jim Hunt and Tommy Hunt and a daughter-in-law ~ Lisa Belt Sizemore.

Visitation for Mrs. Doris Hunt Sizemore will be on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 12:00 until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service time at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey will officiate the funeral service. Burial will follow at Menser Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
