Doris "Deanie" Littlejohn

Doris “Deanie” Littlejohn, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehabilitation. Ms. Littlejohn was born on August 15, 1941 in Caldwell County, KY near Dawson Springs to Garland Burris and Violet Davis Burris. She worked for many years and retired with the Dawson Springs Housing Authority. She was a faithful member for as many years to the First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs, KY.

Ms. Littlejohn is survived by two daughters, Lisa Littlejohn and Lori Blalock and beloved son-in-law, Jon Blalock of Dawson Springs, KY; sister, Donna Clark of Cincinnati, OH; and one granddaughter, Kylie Littlejohn of Indianapolis IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 54 years, James Littlejohn.

A graveside service will be held for Doris “Deanie” Littlejohn on Sunday afternoon, July 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at McNeely Cemetery with Elder Jeff Winfrey and Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating.

Active pallbearers include Jim Littlejohn, Greg Black, Alan Black, Lesa Anderson, Tony Latham and Barry Blalock.
