Darrin Wayne Matheny

Darrin Wayne Matheny, age 41, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Matheny was born on June 23, 1966 in Hammond, IN to Donna Matheny and the late Donald Matheny. He was a 1984 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and attended ITT in Evansville, IN and worked as the grounds and bus maintenance manager for the Dawson Springs Independent School System. Mr. Matheny was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Survivors include his mother ~ Donna Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY; his wife ~ Penni Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY; daughters ~ Leann Matheny of Crofton, KY, Elizabeth Matheny of Princeton, KY, and Alyssa Gilland Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY; sons ~ Brandan Matheny of Crofton, KY and Dakota Gilland Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY; and a brother ~ Kevin Matheny of Nacagdoches, TX.



Mr. Matheny was preceded in death by his father ~ Donald Matheny and a brother ~ Tommy Paul Brandon.



Visitation for Mr. Darrin Wayne Matheny will be Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and from 1:00 until the 2:00 PM funeral hour at First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Alden Parker and Rev. Raymond Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
